Your laptop says where you are. Ghost Mode makes it say home.

Epoch is a one-switch Windows app for people who work from home while they travel. It locks down every setting on the laptop that can give away your location, then proves it with a live check: ✔ PROTECTED or a list of exactly what is wrong.

One key covers two laptops. Secure checkout by Stripe; the key arrives by email.

What one click does

One more click when you are back puts everything as it was. Switching off needs you at the keyboard, so another program cannot quietly turn it off.

What you need

  • A Windows 10 or 11 laptop (64-bit) with an administrator account.
  • A travel router with a tunnel to your home connection, such as a GL.iNet router with WireGuard or OpenVPN to home. Epoch protects and verifies the laptop; the tunnel carries the traffic home.
  • A cable from the laptop to the travel router (most laptops need a USB-C Ethernet adapter).

No travel router yet? Epoch Kits, which come pre-paired, are coming. Join the list to hear first.

Early access

This is an early-access build. It is not code-signed yet, so Windows shows a "Windows protected your PC" screen the first time: click More info, then Run anyway. The Epoch guide walks you through it.

Early-access buyers get every update to version 1.0 and a direct line to the founder: support@epochprivacy.com.

After you buy

Your licence key and the download link arrive by email from Epoch. Install Epoch, right-click its icon by the clock, choose Licence... and paste the key. Then, at home before your first trip, choose Set home: Epoch shows where your connection comes out and saves it only when you confirm. That's the whole setup; the guide covers the rest. One key covers two laptops.
